The OMEGA Speedmaster is one of the brand’s most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six lunar missions. This special edition, inspired by the original 1957 model, celebrates the collection’s rich history of space exploration.
This 40.85 mm brushed stainless steel watch features a matte black grained dial and a rhodium-plated silver outer ring. The three-dimensional hour markers are treated with white luminescent coating, emitting a soft green light.
The dial features two glossy subdials with frosted, beveled edges, inspired by an aircraft cockpit. The 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters at 3 o’clock are modeled after a fuel consumption indicator, with triangular matte orange hands and transferred white numerals. The small seconds counter at 9 o’clock is modeled after a target/sight, with a matte lacquered yellow hand and a blue artificial horizon.
The matte black hour/minute hands are treated with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating and white luminous coating to emit a soft green light, and the tip of the central chronograph hand is decorated with orange lacquer aircraft shape.
The Speedmaster Pilot’s Watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet consisting of frosted flat links, featuring OMEGA’s patented screw and pin design. Powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9900, it comes with a distinctive travel pouch equipped with a strap-changing tool and a KEVLAR® stitched NATO strap.
