OLD SMITH 90-007 Automatic Italian Cordovan Leather

The Old Smith 90-007 is a small seconds, automatic watch.

Equipped with CITIZEN MIYOTA’s Japanese-made Cal. 82S5 movement, this model is inspired by antique watches of the 1930’s and is designed with classic details and styling to create an vintage atmosphere.

The elegant leaf hands have a three-dimensional design with chevron processing. It also incorporates the “curved hands” technique, in which the tip of the long hand is distorted along the glass, which was common in watches made several decades ago. This hand design is easily readable while at the same time maintaining a sense of luxury.

The diameter of the main body is a small 35mm case, which is typical of KUOE. Smaller than many modern watch designs, this 35mm case size is a good fit for most wrist sizes.

The strap is made from high-grade Italian cordovan leather. Only a small amount of this high-grade leather can be taken from the buttocks of a horse. It is characterized by its elegant luster and is famous as one of the world’s top three leathers along with “bridle leather” and “Italian leather.”
