The 46.75mm Seamaster Regatta is OMEGA’s latest commemorative watch for the 37th America’s Cup. Designed specifically for professional sailors, it features both an analog and digital display. Cast from grade 5 titanium, its advanced features make it the perfect choice for sailors.
The watch offers a number of practical functions, including a moon phase display, chronograph, logbook, thermometer, accelerometer and 3 alarms, as well as the indispensable regatta function.
The dial is ingeniously designed, featuring an off-white LCD (liquid crystal display) screen that sets off a variety of eye-catching black digital readout markers. The hour, minute and center second hands are inspired by the Diver 300M series and can be hidden in backlight mode to make the numbers clearer and easier to read. In addition, the minute circle on the outer edge of the dial is integrated with the hour scale.
The watch has four buttons for different functions, one red and three blue, each made of rubber injection molding for easy use during sailing. The sandblasted crown is decorated with a laser-etched OMEGA logo and can be pressed and twisted.
The caseback features a Helmholtz resonance-inspired wave pattern, which enhances the volume of the various alarm functions through a resonant cavity. The caseback is embossed with the unique 37th America’s Cup logo, along with the inscriptions “SEAMASTER REGATTA” and “37th AMERICA’S CUP,” and the name of OMEGA’s latest multi-function quartz movement: CALIBRE 5701.
The watch is fitted with a blue integrated rubber strap that matches the dial, buttons and blue polished ceramic bezel ring. It features OMEGA’s patented Quick Change strap replacement system and comes in a blue commemorative edition box with red stitching.
