The design of the Chronoscope series is based on the familiar Speedmaster shape of watch fans, integrating elements of 1940s Omega chronographs to create a perfect new classic.
This 43mm watch pays tribute to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, featuring the Olympic logo’s gold, black, and white colors. The case is crafted from stainless steel, with a silvery opaline dial and blackened subdials. Other features include a black anodized aluminum bezel ring with a tachymeter scale, 18K Moonshine™ gold Arabic numerals, and leaf-shaped hands and subdial hands treated with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Moonshine™ gold.
The surface is printed with three sets of dark grey spiral pattern chronograph scales, including a tachymeter, a pulsometer and a distance meter, reshaping the watchmaking craftsmanship of the 1940s and highlighting its characteristics.
The back of the watch is also commemorative. The stainless steel bottom cover has a frosted finish to set off the stamped badge. The badge is engraved with the mirror-polished Paris 2024 Olympic Games logo, the stamped Paris 2024 words and the Olympic five-ring pattern.
The stainless steel bracelet features OMEGA’s patented comfort adjustment system, a small seconds dial at 9 o’clock, and 60-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 o’clock. Powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9908.
