The Speedmaster, one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces, was a part of all six lunar missions. This 43mm moonphase watch pays tribute to this legendary history with two moon motifs crafted from genuine lunar meteorites.
The surface of the gray meteorite plate is electroplated and equipped with blue coated hour/minute hands and 18K white gold scales. The hands of the two blue coated small dials are also cast in 18K white gold.
The unique moon phase display is set at 6 o’clock, marking the northern and southern hemispheres and two phases respectively. The moon is made of lunar meteorites that fell to the earth and has been shaped and polished to form an arc shape.
The polished-brushed stainless steel case is set with a polished blue ceramic bezel ring with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The moon phase watch is set on a polished-brushed stainless steel bracelet with OMEGA’s patented comfort adjustment system.
The watch is equipped with the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9914 manual-winding chronograph movement, which is officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
